Valuable Learning & Networking Experience

The International Comparative Rural Policy Studies (ICRPS) program brings together an international, multi disciplinary group of faculty, students and professionals to study together the many facets of rural policy, from policy formulation to policy impacts.

The ICRPS program has been operating for 4 years and has delivered 3 summer schools in Guelph, Ontario; Leuven, Belgium; and Brandon, Manitoba. Phase one has been a great success!

In Phase two, summer institutes are planned for Catalonia, Spain in 2007, Missouri, United States in 2008, Europe in 2009 and Latin America in 2010. The ICRPS program is a major contributor to the internationalization process in western democracies.
